Obsidian's classic mystery role-playing games is based on the idea of character development as well as heavily stylized artwork. The games also have a the story of choice that is set within the 16th century Germany. The protagonist is a talented illustrator who is involved in a series of murders that took place at Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. He is the only person with the intelligence and the determination to uncover the perpetrators, however, every decision he takes has lasting consequences and inexorably leads him to the center of an underlying conspiracy.
